What your day looks like
Your wedding day begins with a relaxed morning at your Lake Tekapo accommodation while your hair and makeup artist comes to you. As you get ready, your photographer captures the special details, from your wedding attire and flowers to those quiet moments before your ceremony.
Once you’re ready, you’ll make your way to the lakeshore where you’ll exchange your vows beside the extraordinary turquoise waters of Lake Tekapo, surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Mackenzie Basin and the Southern Alps. The relaxed pace of the day allows you time to simply enjoy being together while taking in one of New Zealand’s most breathtaking landscapes.
After your ceremony, you’ll spend time exploring the lakeside with your photographer, creating beautiful images amongst the changing colours, mountain views and crystal-clear waters that make Lake Tekapo famous around the world. If you’ve chosen to include a helicopter upgrade, you’ll continue your adventure with a scenic flight to experience the region from an entirely different perspective.
