New Zealand Dream Weddings began nearly 30 years ago, and if I think back to that time, I didn’t sit down and plan a business.

I was asked if I could plan an elopement for an international couple, my husband’s cousin.

I loved every minute, I put myself in their shoes with the chats I had with them. The whole process went so smoothly and the day could not have been more perfect.

From this first wedding, I knew I had found my purpose and passion – to give couples their elopement day with the heart and care that it deserved.

Over the years, so much has changed in the wedding world. But for me, the reason I do this hasn’t.

I still care about each couple.
I still listen, and take the time to understand the vision for their elopement. I want couples to feel relaxed and stress-free, knowing they can trust me to bring their day together just as they’ve imagined.

And to be honest… after nearly 30 years, I have no regret at all with what I do and I never will. Each wedding, is its own love story and I have a soft heart for love stories.
