I’m Donna-Louise Dohi, but you can call me Donna or Dee.
I’m happily married with 5 adult children and currently reside in my hometown of Westport, a picturesque town on the West Coast of New Zealand’s South Island.
Today, I allowed myself a rare 6.30am sleep-in before diving into my routine of checking emails and messages – a habit I’ve upheld for over two decades.
For nearly 24 years, I’ve been dedicated to planning intimate elopements for couples within New Zealand and abroad. This passion has only grown with time, as there’s nothing quite as fulfilling as turning dreams into reality and sharing in the excitement of soon-to-be-wed couples.
Today’s agenda includes responding to inquiries and having a WhatsApp call with a couple who will be getting married later this year. I’m also working on giving New Zealand Dream Weddings a fresh branding look.
When I’m not immersed in wedding planning, I’m working with my husband Shoei in our cozy Sushi Shop. We established the shop over 7 years ago. It’s a delightful yet challenging endeavour – but who doesn’t love a challenge, right?
